Newly built cottage in one of Oakland's finest neighborhoods! Walking distance to a large variety of shopping center's, restaurants, cafe's, wine tasting, the Renaissance Grand Lake Movie Theatre, and the historic Lake Merritt, which features a popular jogging & walking path with a boating center where sailboats, canoes & rowboats can be rented. Easy access to downtown, BART, Amtrak, Airport & San Francisco. Terrific for couples on vacation, business trips & the perfect getaway. The space The cottage is cozy and has lots of natural sun light that comes through the skylight. It's a nice place for relaxing. There is a dining area with a hanging lamp that can also be used as a great work space, It has a full kitchen if you decide to cook up a meal and a microwave for heating. The cabinets are shelved with dishes, utensils and accessories. There's coffee, tea, and chocolate that you can make in a coffee maker. The linen closet has extra towels and blanket, ironing board and hair dryer. When checking out, the key can be left on the kitchen counter and lock the door. Guest access Full access to private driveway parking. It's a 2 car driveway, therefore Leonard and I may share the driveway with guests. When pulling in the driveway, pull in slowly, there's a little bump in the driveway. Other things to note The queen bed sleeps two people plus there is a full size couch bed that sleeps one person.
