Sugarpine Cabin/Boatslip on Priest Lake

Located at lovely Reeder Bay. Summer: Use the shared boat launch, splash in the water, launch kayaks & SUPs, or sit and enjoy the view. 1/2 mile from Ledgewood Beach (day use); 1 mile from historic Elkins Resort & our covered boat slip (with prior arrangement). Swimming, boating, hiking, huckleberry picking--we have it all! Winter: 100s of miles of snowmobile trails right outside! This is our family's home away from home. The space The Sugarpine includes a kitchen stocked with commonly used spices, baking supplies, cookware, tea, and other basics. Linens and towels are provided, but plan to bring your own beach towels. The bathroom contains a shower, not a bathtub. No A/C, but the lake area temperatures are usually cooler than nearby towns and there are fans upstairs and down to help keep air moving on warmer days. There are also plenty of toys, books, games, and movies in case the weather keeps you inside. Dogs are negotiable for an additional cleaning fee and security deposit (registered trained service animals always welcome). Guest access You will enjoy the use of the whole cabin (not the shed). We keep some of our private food stocked on the top shelf of one cupboard. Other than that you are welcome to use whatever you find in the cabin. Other things to note In summer our Elkins Resort covered boat slip is included with your rental (please let us know if you'll be using it so we can notify the resort), and we can tell you about boat rental options, too. We do not have good cell service at the cabin, but we do just a 3-4 min walk down the road at the boat launch. Texts sometimes come through at the cabin, but may be difficult to send out depending on your cell carrier. Wi-Fi is available at resorts around the lake, including Elkins. You'll have the perfect excuse to completely unplug at the cabin, yet still have easy access to "the outside world" when needed. **In winter we lower our rates but must charge a $300 "cleaning fee" to help offset the costs of snow removal and re-winterizing the pipes.
