This rental is GREAT for those wanting to take advantage of the Mid-Town, Downtown, Museum District and Galleria scenes. The older Third Ward community has sweet charm and upgrades. One can park and Uber to most places without issue, while also taking advantage of delivery services like Postmates to get the goodies you don't want to go out for. The wifi, satellite Smart televisions and secure property is wonderful for a quick visit to the Bayou. The space The duplex apartment is located upstairs. It's been renovated, while still having the old charm of yesteryear. The 1800 square foot apartment is what the doctor ordered when seeking a spacious homey feel, while in town for business or pleasure. Cleburne Manor has hosted solopreneurs in town for work, families of 5 or less, girlfriends trips for sorority weekends, teams attending network marketing conferences, couples visiting families in the Houston medical center, and beyond. Located in the historical Washington Terrace (Third Ward), the city boasts close proximity to Downtown Houston, Mid-Town, both the Toyota Center, Dynamo Stadium, NRG Stadium, and Houston's infamous University and College systems. If you're in town for the Houston Texans home games, to cheer on our Houston Rockets, Houston Dynamo's, UH COOGS (Go Coogs!) and our 2017 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ASTROS!!! You'll be staying within 10 minutes of the action... We also welcome Business travelers! There is private parking for cars (no hotel paid parking here:-), a private backyard and personal patios. The older apartment may miss the mark on several 2018 amenities but we make up for it with our old school charm and comfort. We just ask that our guests are respectful of our space and neighbors. PLEASE NOTE: There is a private gate for parking for our duplex tenants and Airbnb guests. We ask that the driveway access not be blocked, as duplex neighbors have irregular work hours. There is also great parking on the street. The apartment is a NON-SMOKING apartment, however there is private patio usage available for moderate smoking usage.
