A walker's haven, close but quiet.

Hear the surf not the cars: a perfect getaway holiday home. Enviably located in a quiet, private location only a few minutes walk from the beach, harbor and the town itself. Go on lovely hikes and water-based activities (great surfing) or relax under covered porch over-looking the river Rheidol. The bungalow sleeps 5 - all rooms on the one floor. Ample parking on private driveway. Perfect for couples or families. Some scenes from Hinterland detective series filmed just up the road! The space The views from the house are truly stunning - in good weather or bad! You can watch the vessels making way in and out of the harbor, look out for dolphins or just chill out and enjoy a romantic sunset. The property is set in it's own extensive grounds. Apart from the front lawn - the rest of the garden is kept untamed to promote wild-life habitats. The bungalow itself is light and airy. Guest access This house has a large front garden, with plenty of car parking space, a small back garden and a little hill for wildlife, which is to the side. This has purposefully been left so is covered in turn with, daffodils, bluebells,(March/April) and then a good covering of bracken, honeysuckle for most of the year. The property has also the benefit of a outdoor washing line. As a private space it is large, and because the view of the sea is so exspansive, guests will feel they"have got away", and yet it is only a short walking distance to the town and the main shops. Other things to note With the pandemic in mind, this area of Wales has been very fortunate, as covid 19 cases have been the lowest in the whole of the UK. This was because a manual track and trace system was put in place by the Council at the start of the lock down, we obviously want to keep up our good work on this front so guests will be asked for their contact details in case the track and trace system has to be implemented. A brief log of places visited is advised to make recall easier. As a host I will also be supplying anti-bacterial wipes, sanitizer, gloves and a container by the door so that guests on returning from outside can clean and sanitize credit cards, phones hands etc.
