The village is ten minutes from the main Siena-Florence highway, close to picturesque San Gimignano, Siena, Florence, Voltera, and Chianti; the famous wine making areas of Montalcino and Montepulciano, and Pienza and Cortona, are approximately one hour by car making Casole d'Elsa an excellent location from which to make day trips.
