Villa Sublime is a luxe boutique villa set on 1 acre and located in Unawatuna, on the south-west coast of Sri Lanka. We promise serenity and rejuvenation of your body, mind and soul. The space The villa is ideal for solo travellers, couples or small groups. You may book a stay in any one of the bedrooms or for the entire villa. Whichever option you choose, the sweet serenity of Villa Sublime will undoubtedly ‘seduce your senses’. Architecturally designed and built to suit the tropical climate, the villa offers 3 spacious bedrooms each in a separate section of the villa allowing complete privacy. Open verandahs, sloped roofs, high ceilings, overhanging eaves, skylights and glassless windows create a sense of openness whilst maximising natural ventilation and airflow. The villa’s interior design and décor is unique yet simple and stylish. A blend of contemporary and exquisite antique furniture pieces creates a rustic ambience. The Deluxe Queen Suite is the most spacious room at Villa Sublime. It is bright and airy and features a mammoth ensuite bathroom, private internal sitting area and external verandah overlooking the lush tropical gardens and swimming pool. You’ll also have direct access to the library, which has a large desk, comfy chair and several interesting books, magazines and games. It is conveniently close to the main verandah, alfresco dining pavilion and swimming pool. It offers a large Queen bed, ensuite bathroom, rain shower with solar hot water and a walk-in wardrobe. The room is perfect for the discerning solo traveller or couple seeking simplicity yet a little luxury. The Standard King Room has delightful views of the swimming pool and lush tropical gardens. It is also conveniently close to the main verandah, alfresco dining pavilion and swimming pool. It offers a large King bed, ensuite bathroom, rain shower with solar hot water and generous wardrobe. The room is perfect for the solo traveller or couple. The Bungalow is tucked away from the other bedrooms affording you complete privacy. It has a private verandah overlooking the villa’s lush tropical gardens and its own tea/ coffee making facilities. It features 2 separate sleeping areas and a cute little nook for kicking back with a good book or cup of fine Sri Lankan tea. It offers a large King bed, smaller Double bed, indoor sitting area, ensuite bathroom, rain shower with electric hot water and a functional wardrobe. The bungalow is ideal for 3 adults. Whilst Villa Sublime offers its guests all the standard creature comforts, the finer details have also been carefully considered; soft cotton bed linen, plush bath towels, ceiling fans, mosquito nets, room safes, mini fridges, filtered drinking water, complimentary Wi-Fi and a library for everyone. The gentle rhythm of the surrounding jungle and our lush tropical gardens will not only enchant you but captivate you. Together they produce a wildlife paradise at Villa Sublime. You will relish the variety of visiting exotic creatures including monkeys, squirrels, peacocks, kingfishers, woodpeckers, flycatchers, oriental magpies, flying fish, water monitors, frogs, fireflies, turtles and the occasional porcupine! As the sun slowly disappears behind the coconut palms, the alfresco dining pavilion overlooking the shimmering fresh water swimming pool is the perfect spot to watch the bats fly by, the stars and fireflies light up the night sky and enjoy a traditional rice and curry meal.
