In BnB Bird's Nest: Loft (140 m²) on a separate (top) floor and therefore very private, spacious, bright, sunny, comfortable, beautiful, in a B&B house with 3 (4) other B&B rooms. Separate bathroom. Small balcony in natural garden with bird paradise. 1 French bed (and additional single beds as needed). The bus ride to the center of Basel takes just 19 minutes!/10 minutes by car! The space Romantic, immersed in nature, and yet only 21 minutes away by direct bus to Basel city center! By car, it's 10 minutes. The room is furnished with quality mattresses/duvets, good reading lamps and pretty, cozy wooden furniture. In the natural, wild garden, you can sometimes spot deer, badgers and storks. At night, you can listen to the tawny owl and the nightingale, depending on the season. The B&B has a separate entrance and its own B&B kitchen, separate from ours, for self-catering. It is therefore particularly suitable for stays of several days and/or for families/groups/courses. We live with our three teenagers in the house next door. Free tea and Nescafé for you to make yourself. Direct bus connection to Basel city center!: 3-minute walk to ENGEHOLLEWG station & 19 min. Bus ride (33) to SCHIFFLÄNDTE/city center/market square. 10 minutes by car. By bike, 20 minutes. To SBB RAILWAY STATION: 3-minute walk to the ENGEHOLLEWG stop & 15-minute bus ride (33) to the SCHÜTZENHAUS stop. Change here to tram 1 or 8. It's 5 minutes to SBB TRAIN STATION. By car: 11 minutes. During your stay We live with our family in our own house right next door. Our households are completely separate. Other things to note The kitchen is sometimes also used by other guests. We therefore ask you to put all dishes, pans, cutlery, etc. away clean and dry in the cabinets and to put away food before leaving the kitchen each time. We do not charge cleaning fees for the kitchen if it is left tidy. (For longer stays, please take glass/cans to public collection points and return PET bottles to the shopping center. On request, our cleaning staff can take care of this for you for a fee to cover expenses. For short stays of 1–2 nights, we will be happy to take care of this for you.
