Guest access Please note, we need 48 hour prior notice to prepare this space. Due to Covid, there will be self check ins only. Given the idiosyncratic nature of the building, once on site, the Host requests that you call so we can walk you thru. We can also give information on the island and rules and check out. Other things to note We highly recommend checking the status of the ferry before you start your trip. the ferry does break down from time to time. we recommend checking availability prior to travel. During the summer months, bats frequent the area. On infrequent occasion a bat may enter the outter atrium area. They are harmless and they do not nest in the structure. We recommend not renting this airbnb if this is not acceptable. On occasion, garder snakes visit the attrum. They are harmess and will not interfere with your activities. if you fear snakes, this is not the place to rent. The Atrium can get very hot in the summer. We recommend that the large double doors be closed at dusk to avoid bat entry. Please note, there are coyotes on the island. We recommend not leaving your pets unattended, especially after dusk. The gated yard will afford some protection, but may not be 100%. There is a small restaurant and a small shop at the resort. Off site activities include beach combing, kite flying, and hiking on our new trail that affords you a 360 degree view of the San Juan Islands.
