So, if you are looking for some kind of hotel this is not your place. but if you are looking for a nice place with great people, this is your place!" ~ Miriam, young guest from Germany We, my teenage son who is an art student in High School & Pre-College, and I welcome (1) one travelling guest to our home for a maximum stay of 3 days at a time (open to longer...it depends!). Our home is a youthful, positive, peaceful, loving, Spiritually Rich environment. IF that is not your energy, other accommodations would be more to your liking, and we wish you well! ***NOTE: Although there is NO specific curfew, RESPECT for the Host family should ALWAYS be a consideration, just as the Host family RESPECTS the guests! COMMUNICATION is ALWAYS the RIGHT thing to do!*** We live in a Manhattan Brownstone in a beautiful neighborhood just minutes away from Lincoln Centre, Central Park, Riverside Park off the Hudson River, shopping & the Subway just 3 blocks away to EVERYWHERE!!! I am a Pastry Chef specializing in AWESOME Chocolate Desserts, and I offer Breakfast (Hosts' choice) during your stay with us (NOT a part of the fee, but offered by the Host). Guest is welcome to receive the Breakfast, however the fee is the same whether meal is taken or not. There are many cafes & restaurants in the neighborhood & within walking distance for your dining pleasure, if you choose. We enjoy the ever engaging New York City Art scene which we would love to share with you! WiFi, flat screen tv, stereo, lots of books in apartment! Bathroom is shared. Please ask to use anything that is not your own. Please READ & UNDERSTAND the "Description" & "House Rules" carefully: * NO shoes worn in apartment at any time. * NO luggage or backpacks on the furniture at any time. NOTE: The 2 above help to keep the space & furniture as clean as possible for the Host family, current guest, and future guests. * NO overnite guests &/or "friends with benefits" activity allowed at any time. * NO smoking at any time. * NO animals allowed at any time. * NO food in the room at any time, ONLY water (a paper cup will be provided, no glass). * Please try to wash hands often, especially before & after dining, to cut down on germs or food misplaced around apartment. NOTE: I wash my hands often for this reason out of respect for my guests comfort...Please do the same. * Please unplug from electrical outlets cell phones & laptop etc when not in use. * Please turn off light(s) in the room not being used, and in the morning open blinds for daylight. NOTE: The 2 above will help in keeping the rate of the room affordable for all guests! * Bathroom is shared and as such the toilet seat is to be put down, and clean up after yourself for the next one to use it out of respect for the household. * Please ask before using anything in the apartment, that is not your own.
