Simply stroll right out of your door into the heart of the excellent shops, restaurants and playhouses of "Lil' Nashville" The Iris Garden Cozy Cottage is a comfortable, quiet cottage located at the rear of the Iris Garden Gallery complex. The cottage has a queen size bed and a love seat. There is a lovely sitting area with a TV that has cable TV, a kitchenette, and a private bathroom and shower. The kitchenette has a microwave, refrigerator, and a coffee maker. You'll find the accommodations in this quaint cottage more than satisfying during your visit with us! Your Hosts at the Iris Garden are Matt, Amy, Josie and Tanner Gray. They are the epitome of a privately owned and operated lodging establishment. The business phones are forwarded to their cell phones every night "just in case one of the Guests happens to need something after hours." Matt and Amy moved with their children, Josie and Tanner, from Pensacola Florida to Brown County in 2003 and have all been in love with it every since. They joke "We believe that Southern Hospitality feels right at home in Southern Indiana!" When asked what they enjoy the most about their business, they (without hesitation) say "It's our Guests! We have the best job in the world. We get to make new friends every day and we are so very humbled that they come again and again with their smiling faces to stay with us here at The Iris Garden." Matt summarizes it all with the statement, "It's not gold that makes you wealthy.... it's your friends." In January of 2024, Matt and Amy's daughter Josie took over the role of owner to follow in her parents' footsteps, carrying on the Southern Hospitality the Gray family knows so well.
