The Courtyard is a stylish 1 bedroom unique apartment set in the grounds of an historic 1000 year old house & located within a stunning stable courtyard & fountain. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, visitors & close to the beautiful Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, counties of Glos, Worcs, Herefordshire and Wales. Explore the ancient market towns of Ledbury & Ross On Wye plus beautiful spa towns of Malvern & Cheltenham. Just a short stroll away from the award winning “Three Choirs Vineyard" & brassiere. The space The apartment has been built to a very high standard with delightful views across a walled garden and fields beyond. Relax and take in the stunning scenery whilst sipping a glass of wine sat within the patio area outside. There is a lovely new purpose built kitchen with an integral oven, microwave, and fridge. We do have BT internet that can be accessed in the property but due to our rural location it’s not the best! The bathroom has been finished to a very high standard with sink unit, shower and toilet. There is a lovely dining table and a large sofa, chair and television for relaxation and soft throws to snuggle into after a day out and about exploring. There is one bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Parking is on the gravel drive behind the stable block and just by the entrance. There is secure storage for any bikes - just let us know before you arrive. We are located around 10/15 mins of Junction 2 (Newent) and Junction 3 (Ledbury) of the M50. We are also close to the B4215 which takes you in either direction to Ross on Wye, Monmouth, Hereford or Gloucester and Cheltenham. We are literally a walk away from the "Three Choirs Vineyard" and also "3 Shires" garden centre. Ledbury is a cycling trip away through the beautiful country lanes or a 10 minute car drive. It is a beautiful market town with shops, pubs, restaurants and local history. There are many lovely public walkways on our doorstep - literally from our door to a field - a map will be provided in the apartment. Guest access You have access to the apartment, the private patio outside and through the farm drive onto our fields where there are public footpaths - directions will be given on access. No permission is given to enter any of the fields without public footpaths and with horses or cows in but you are welcome to wander around the stable courtyard and top garden where you can make friends with the horses over a fence ! Please do not feed them anything other than carrots or apples though and be sure to keep your hands flat ! Our own family garden is however out of bounds. Other things to note We do have 2 very friendly puppies that wander the property and also free range chickens so there is a certain amount of animal noise (that's including the neighing of the horses!). There will also be low key noise from some farm machinery and a forklift truck but we do try to keep this to a minimum when guests are around - circumstances permitting.
