Welcome to Cottage 308! This adorable 1863 historical home is loaded with charm! Come enjoy its' towering tall ceilings, arched doorways, and quaint spaces for your perfect get away! Located in peaceful, Victoria Place and within walking distance of the brick streets of downtown Thomasville. This one bedroom, one bath home hosts a king bed, lovely walk in shower, fully furnished kitchen, laundry room and coffee bar! All the charm of this home awaits you to make your stay one of a kind! The beautiful arched doorways, vintage wide trim, tall ceilings, and a boho vibe give the impression of stepping back in time when you enter this historical cottage. It is a private home (the entire home is yours) in a small, beautiful palm tree lined neighborhood. A meat market is located just down the street. There are also multiple parks within walking distance and often the lovely aroma of flowers bakery greets you as you walk outdoors. There is a 2 car private parking space and a small yard. The bricks of downtown Thomasville are roughly a half mile away and walk to the amazing "Jonah's Fish and Grits" in less then a mile. It's the perfect location to enjoy all the delights of downtown, yet still have a quiet and restful space to return to. The cottage is set up with keyless entry to allow you to check in/out with ease. The couch and a folding mat are available for the 3rd and 4th person sleeping space as well as a pack and play if children are along! . There is a coffee bar for your enjoyment with pour over or french press brewing options. In the event you decide to purchase coffee beans from "Grass Roots" downtown, a grinder is provided as well. Washer and dryer also available for you to use at your leisure and should you forget anything, no worries, we will have travel cosmetics waiting for you just in case. We have a very high standard of cleaning for the cottage so you can rest assured that it's been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before your stay. Check out our reviews! We’ve hosted many photographers and their clients and it’s been a great working relationship! We do charge an extra $50 fee for sessions of more than 4 people total. If you are looking to book for this purpose, please message before you book and we will send an updated price. * We are also delighted to be a part of your wedding day and have hosted many bridal parties for pictures as well as a bridal suite for the big day! The same $50 fee applies for parties over 4 people. * We are also pet friendly! We welcome your pet to our home as long as it is under 50lbs. There is an extra charge of $150 dollars. We also have a strict no pets on the furniture policy. We ask kindly that you do not allow your pet on any of the chairs, couch or bed for the sake of our future guests. We are happy for you to use the small yard around the cottage for your pet to get some exercise but please be responsible to clean up after them. Thank you and we look forward to hosting you!
