The space Our cottage is situated on the Bruce Highway in a rural sector of the Whitsundays. With a central location to Proserpine (5mins), Airlie Beach (15mins) and Abel Point Marina (10mins) by car and Whitsunday Airport 15mins. Destinations you can visit by car to enjoy a day out at the beach or fish, Dingo Beach, Echo Resort, Monties and Hydeway Bay, Airlie Beach, Shute Harbour. There is a lovely rainforest walk before you arrive at Shute Harbour. Amazing sandy beaches at Conway and you can also visit Cedar Creek Falls. Many ideas for a low budget getaway. Visit the islands Hayman, Daydream, Hamilton, Whitehaven or enjoy the water sports. Rates of accommodation vary in the area due to the high volume of tourists that visit the Whitsundays. There is a local bus service in the area as well as a taxi service but if you want to see the local sights it is best having a vehicle. Guest access The cottage comes with a concrete park area beside for your vehicle. There is a set of double gates to enter with a lock. If you are towing a caravan, boat or trailer there is room to access to come in and out of property. Pets are not allowed inside the cottage. Other things to note Because of our central location you have a great opportunity to visit local pubs for meals, the coffee farm attraction is only .05km south of us and holds a Farmer market the last Sunday of each month. Markets at Airlie Beach and Proserpine on the weekends. Please note that we do accept pets at this stage.
