Hideaway Bay Ocean Breeze House

Enjoy a beach vacation in our relaxed Ocean Breeze House in Hydeaway Bay. Only 300m walk to the foreshore, with ocean views, this is the perfect place for couples, families and friends who want to explore the beautiful Whitsundays at their own pace. The space The house sits elevated on poles with more than 70 sqm mostly covered outdoor decking area facing towards the ocean, perfect for entertaining, relaxed afternoons and playtime in the shade. Please note: We have off-street parking right in front of the house but no dedicated carpark. Guests need to take the first flight of stairs down without handrails and another flight of stairs up to the deck with handrails to the entry of the house. We don't recommend anyone staying at our house who has difficulties taking stairs without handrails. Ocean Breeze House offers 1 Queens size bedroom (note: it’s a low-line bed) with an open wardrobe and a kids bedroom with a single and a pull out second single/trundle bed. Both bedrooms have a reverse cycle air conditioner for guest convenience. A large living and kitchen area offers ocean views and opens towards two large fully covered outdoor areas. The two ceiling fans provide excellent airflow. WiFi and satellite TV are available and a classic boardgames collection is stored under the TV shelve. The kitchen is fully equipped with large fridge/freezer, oven and cooktop, dishwasher and a pantry with basics like salt/pepper, oil/vinegar, coffee, tee and sugar. An outdoor gas BBQ is available as well. Please note, this is a remote beach community and sometimes we do run out of supplies. We try our best to have basic supplies always stocked but it can happen at times. In these cases please get in touch with us and we are happy to restock if possible during your stay. Note: We don't have a microwave! We provide a spacious bathroom with shower and a laundry with washing machine. You can park your car in front of the house. Please note - the house is elevated and to get to the entrance you need to take a few steps down (first steps down without handrails) and up to the decking again (stairs up to the deck have handrails). You will be rewarded with a large mostly covered decking area, surrounding the main living room - all to yourself. We are currently re-planting the backyard. At this point, only some greenery in our backyard will be visible. Please try to avoid the area until landscaping has been concluded. Guest access Guests will have access to the main building which includes 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living and kitchen area and laundry room. Other things to note - Check-in is anytime after 2PM and check out by 10AM - Self check-in with lockbox - Sorry we do not take large groups or Bucks/Hens parties. Guests booking the accommodation must be 23 years and over. - dishes need to be washed and put away before departure
