Spring/Summer getaways on Osoyoos Lake waterfront!
Reserve your holiday getaway at our waterfront property on Osoyoos Lake. This is the place! Our main floor boasts an open floor plan with a fully loaded kitchen, dining area, family room, wall mounted TV, Master on the main, designated work station and a furnished, screened porch. Magical views of the lake! The second floor has two bedrooms sharing one 3 piece bathroom. Our high speed Internet at 131 MBPS (Star-Link) is what we have to cover your "out of office" needs. Our home is situated on a one acre, low-bank waterfront property with a spacious outdoor patio area, flower gardens, large grass area and plenty of shade. There is enough room to set up a volleyball or badminton net, to play a game of soccer, croquet, bocce-ball, etc. A great place to chill out, relax and create new memories with your family, friends, or both :) Our main floor boasts an open floor plan with a fully loaded kitchen, dining area, family room, wall mounted TV, Master on the main, designated work station and a furnished, screened porch. Our home is fully air-conditioned and also has a propane fireplace should you decide to visit during the Fall/Winter Season. Guests have access to their own private patio, gardens, grass/beach area. The dock is a common area. There is a pergola dividing the property identifying two spacious, private areas, one for each side. There is plenty of room for each party. There is adequate parking behind the green barn for both sides. There may be other tenants next door during your stay. Swim/boat docks are common areas. Kayaks and Paddleboards are also shared between both sides. There is absolutely NO DIVING off the Docks as the water can be too shallow. Please obey posted Signs. Please Note that the swim/boat docks are in the water from mid May to mid October, on average. I will be available to help in any way I can via cell, email or text messages. The small town of Oroville is a quaint, interesting town perfect for your rest and relaxation. The town's people are extremely friendly and willing to help out where they can. Oroville has two grocery stores; Harvest Foods in the Prince's Center along with an Ace Hardware store, and Frontier Foods just a ways South on the Main Highway. You can get everything you need at either location. There are some great restaurants in town as well. Past-time Brewery, Rancho Grande Mexican and Home-Town Pizza are all fabulous and located on Main Street. Crossing the border into Canada opens up to many wonderful wineries to tour and/or have lunch at! From the Burrowing Owl, to Hester Creek and Tin Horn Creek with all kinds of smaller vineyards in between. A new Winery opened this year just north of the Burrowing Owl. It is called Phantom Creek Estates. Note: Due to Covid 19 restrictions and border closures at this time, the vineyards listed are not possible to visit. There are many ways to visit the small town of Oroville from our location. You can walk, drive, bike, skateboard, scooter, etc. your way into town. There are farmer's markets, coffee houses, a library, restaurants, grocery stores, Mexican Food truck, hardware store, etc. spread throughout Oroville. If you want to bring your boat we have a boat slip with a manual lift available. We also have one full hook-up for an RV/trailer. Use of these must be requested for and can be had for an additional cost. RV Full-hook up site - $50.00 USD per night Boat Slip - Free If you require our RV's there are available for $125.00 USD/$75.00 USD per night. We have a Rockwood that sleeps 8 and a Cougar than sleeps 4.
