Abbey Wood Station is just a 5-minute walk away, serving 18 trains per hour across three major lines to take you into London, Kent, and beyond: ​The Elizabeth Line (Most Popular): Your fast track into central London, taking you directly to Canary Wharf, Liverpool Street, and the West End. It also offers direct rail access to Heathrow Airport, and is just 2 stops away from the ExCeL Exhibition Centre. ​Thameslink: Direct trains to Blackfriars (perfect for exploring the vibrant Southbank) and direct rail access to Luton Airport. ​Southeastern: Direct trains to London Bridge (right next to the famous Borough Market). ​Other Airports: Gatwick and Stansted are easy to reach with just a single transfer. ​O2 Arena / North Greenwich: Easily accessible via two direct bus routes from the station, or a quick 30-minute train journey. ​For your daily essentials, a major supermarket is just a 7-minute walk away and is conveniently open until 10:00 PM every day. To ensure a peaceful stay for everyone, please note our house guidelines: ​ The house is perfect for quality family time or with friends ​No Parties Allowed: To respect our community, large parties or commercial events are strictly prohibited ​Quiet Hours: Our neighbors are incredibly relaxed and respectful of your privacy, but we ask that you return the favor by keeping noise levels down and avoiding loud music after 11:00 PM. Guest access Guest Access & Key Features ​Entire House to Yourself: Please note that this is a fully private house. It is not a shared space, and you will have your own private entrance straight from the street. ​Easy Access: For your convenience, you will be provided with two sets of keys upon check-in. ​Parking Information Street Parking: Parking right outside is free and unrestricted most of the time. Restrictions are only in place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday to Friday. ​Visitor Permits: If you plan to park during those restricted hours, I can easily organize daily visitor permits for you at a small fee of £7 per day. Please let me know in advance if you require these. ​Accessibility Note ​The Entrance Steps: The house is situated on a small, scenic bank/hill and is accessed via 18 steps from the street level. While our guests often see it as a great "keep-fit challenge," please keep this in mind if you have heavy luggage, traveling with the elderly, or have specific mobility issues. Other things to note Because the property features such a large, beautiful garden, it does require a bit of regular upkeep—especially during the peak summer months when everything grows so quickly! ​For Stays Longer Than One Week: I may need to pop by to maintain the garden during your stay. To ensure your absolute privacy, I will always give you at least 24 hours' notice. ​Zero Disruption to Your Privacy: I can access the garden entirely through the back gate. I will not enter the house, and the front door remains completely exclusive to you. ​Watering & Upkeep: I take care of all the heavy watering myself during guest changeovers. However, if you are staying during a particularly hot spell, I might kindly ask you to turn on the garden tap at your convenience (either morning or evening) just to keep the grass lush and green! ​Easy 5-Minute Task: The garden hose is conveniently kept right outside the kitchen door. It is a simple, 5-minute job—just turn the tap on, let the sprinkler do the work, and turn it off when done. Your help in keeping the garden beautiful is greatly appreciated!
