The ground floor room opens to the front garden while the rooftop room opens onto a balcony furnished with reclining sofas, a Gas and conventional Barbecue. Also available is a comfortable drawing cum dining room and a modern kitchen. NO SMOKING HOME. Caretaker available (Cooking/laundry extra charge). The space A private home away from home, at 7000 ft. amidst Cedar and Pine wood forests on the sunny side of Mashobra Hills. Breathtaking natural beauty of our Himalayas surround you on all sides. Across the valley on the opposite hill is Simla whose lights will mesmerise your evenings as the sun goes down. All your creature comforts have been attended to the finest detail. The well appointed kitchen with all modern gadgets with adjoining dining and lounge room with an open fire place and a glazed balcony make this an ideal setting for a self catered holiday. For meat-lovers you have a pine wood fired barbecue in the garden and a Gas fired imported one on the open rooftop balcony . Guest access The front flower garden has beautiful potted plants and also flowering beds. There is ample sitting arrangements under a Sun umbrella and a Hammock for book lovers. The fruit garden at the back and the herb patch is for your use in season. You will have access to the top bedroom and all your creature comforts will be looked after to the utmost degree. The well equipped kitchen, comfortably furnished lounge cum dining room with an open pine cone fire place, its library and glazed balcony is for you to enjoy. The open balcony on the top floor with the gas fired barbecue, village style clay utensil cooking over wood, a modern induction cooktop with all suitable cook ware, a generous dinning suite and two imported recliners are for your enjoyment. During your stay I visit my property for five days in a month and during my stay would love to interact with my guests. Otherwise I am only a phone call or email away. You are always welcome to contact me before 9.30 PM on all days. Other things to note Renu, your in house caretaker, will welcome you in person with a complimentary cup of tea and biscuits. She will then familiarise you to all the access areas of the property; hand you your room key and introduce you with all the amenities in your rooms, washrooms etc. She will assist only the long term guests ie. those staying for a week or longer with cooking the provisions you provide her and do your laundry at an extra charge of Rs. 500/- per day. Other, short term guests can order all their meals and beverages from a “Menu of Renu’s Kitchen” a copy of which is kept in the Dining Room and also in your individual rooms. Being a Brahmin, she will not cook non vegetarian food although eggs she will handle. But please feel free to cook your own non vegetarian meals and Renu will assist with chopping onions etc. PLEASE NOTE: THERE ARE HEAVY DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE FOR LONGER TERM BOOKINGS.
