Mas de la Fargassa - Bright studio

The apartment, studio type, is a renovated old pig barn that can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children with a double bed and two bunk beds (1m20 long). You will have your own bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a south-facing terrace to enjoy the sun. Gas heating is available for cooler off-season days The space Welcome to La Fargassa! The Mas, formerly a forge where iron ore from Canigou was melted, is surrounded by trees and a quiet river runs along the property, allowing you to swim. We have many animals (goats, horses, donkeys, cats, chickens...) as well as a garden where we grow our vegetables. The place is very quiet, many hikes are possible in the surroundings (GR10 a few minutes from the Mas), the breathtaking landscapes and the night allows you to observe the stars without light pollution! We recycle and reuse as much as possible because we do not want to be part of the constant consumption of our society and the way of throwing everything that is no longer perfect in the trash. Because of this, the rooms are not equipped with mattresses, towels (...) all new, but clean and usable (of course!). The rustic and natural ambience adapts to the environment that describes the image of the wilderness. For us, it is a central value to live more independently and in unity with our environment. So we don't kill animals, and the meals are vegetarian. Guest access The mountain road to reach the Fargassa is breathtaking, but narrow and exposed to the wind (allow about 30 minutes). It is not suitable for large motorhomes or caravans, only for cars and small vans. There aren't many places to turn around!
