The home is located on a semi-secluded point, on Kayuta Lake, in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. The house is close to snowmobile and x-country trails for winter activities and is available for all seasonal use. The space The property is on a point with great views of the lake and with the house right on the water you'll enjoy the easy access that this provides for all outside activities Guest access Entire house except basement area, sandy beach, screened in porch with attached expansive deck space. Outside fireplace overlooking the lake and some lawn space for relaxation and enjoyment. Dock available for boats or swimming. Other things to note You're on the water so enjoy the lake that's roughly 10 miles long and connects with the Black River. There's an Island close by which is great for swimming. You're also approximately 25 minutes from Old Forge and points North for day trip activities; and you're 25 minutes from Utica or Rome which both offer many cultural, recreational, dining and other options for your consideration. You're also within easy driving distance from the baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, as well as the heart of the Adirondack mountains, offering you plenty of opportunities if you like to get away and enjoy the area. There is a golf course less than 3 miles away, ski areas 25 minutes north in Turin, NY on the snowy Tug Hill plateau, as well as in Old Forge at McCauley Mt. Snow mobile trails intersect the private access road for this property which is maintained year round for ease of use. Groomed x-country ski trails are located nearby as well. For winter use all wheel w/good snow tires and/or 4wheel drive vehicle use is required. Although we are pet friendly we do require a fee of $20/night/dog for their stay. This fee is payable upon your arrival.
