The solar lighted floating dock is also shared between two other Rivercliff guests and you are allowed to fish there 24/7. If you’ve never been in a cave—this is a beautiful experience. (Then it’s time to journey to the dock to catch that trophy fish.) The lighted private secluded dock (which is for Rivercliff’s guests only) and the river are at the end of our long driveway. It is a refreshing walk anytime of the day. The water on the river stays a constant 47 degrees year around, so in the summer months you will be much cooler near the river so come in August to avoid the heat near your home. The White River is home to the wintering bald eagle. Expect to see Canadian geese floating down river and deer on our property, We supply everything you need for a fantastic experience but your fishing gear, clothes, and consumables. You may rent our boats or kayaks (on property) OR bring your own. If fly fishing is your thing, we suggest using our private boat ramp where you can launch your own boat. You may also keep your boat behind our rental boat dock for easy access during the day for your convenience. Or you can just catch a trophy trout right off our lighted private secluded dock. Fishing is open year around, and the White River is a famous blue-ribbon trout fishing location written up in Field and Stream magazine and is noted for the world record brown trout of 34 lbs. We can provide fishing guides at your request. Enjoy the morning fog that quickly dissipates on the river and the crystal clear clean waters of the White River. Fish, watch the wildlife, relax, rent a boat or kayak. Forget something? No problem. Bull Shoals is 1.5 miles away, and Walmart is 13 miles away. Rivercliff’s Riverside Duplex and deck sits just 90 FT from the white river’s edge. Sit on your deck and watch the river go by. Fly fish or wade from our Private Boat Ramp which is right outside your door. The other side of the duplex is also available on VRBO River side Cabin A with deck facing the river, makes it a great couple retreat or family vacation by renting both sides of the duplex. Rivercliff properties are private and secluded at home with nature and create a wonderful relaxing experience. Slow down, you’re on mountain time now. Facing the cabin your door is on the right, your deck is on the right. Two chained link yards is for our guests to keep their pets and to keep small children from wandering. Feel free to bring horse shoes or any outdoor games. We have plenty of room. Park on gravel space right of the cabin plenty of room for boat and trailer also. Avoid blocking boat ramp access or parking on other side of your unit. Fire pit by rivers edge. Please do not throw rocks into river as this is part of the white river bank stabilization plan. Rental Boats are available 20 1/2 FT John Boats with new 4 stroke Mercury Motors for 170 to 195 per day. Kayaks for rent for 40$ per day. per day. Exclusive optional customized to you pickup service down river is available for $30 per person. We are pet friendly, we have a one time additional $30 charge for pets per stay. Please communicate any pets when booking, charges and communicate with owner. Pet Rules 1. Pets are to be crated if left alone in the cabin. 2. All “gifts” left by your pet need to be cleaned up immediately. 3. Pets are not allowed to bother other guests and must be leashed on property.
