This beautifully restored old stable block is a fabulous place to base yourself from to explore the Kent countryside and all it has to offer. Ideally suited to couples, this property is next door to an award winning pub. Open for lunch and evening meals you won't have to travel far for your meals after your adventures! The property benefits from a wood burner in the living area and an ensuite bedroom, all you could need for your romantic escape. The space The Coach House is a converted stable block situated beside a traditional English pub, The Haywain. The Haywain is situated in the heart of the picturesque East Kent countryside, on the A257 between Littlebourne & Wingham, with a conveniently located bus stop on the main Canterbury to Sandwich & Deal bus routes. We have a large beer garden where we regularly stage events and there is plenty of off-road parking. The Coach House itself is light and airy and serves as an ideal base to explore the Kent countryside and all it has to offer. There are wildlife parks, medieval towns and cities along with Cathedrals and castles. The usual shops bars and restaurants can be found too for those who prefer a bit more life away from the history! There really is something for everyone. We're even a short hop from France via the Eurotunnel or Ferry so why not have a day trip to stock up?
