The house which is literally ten steps away from the sea. Inside the spiral staircase leads to the top floor living area, which lead to an open terrace with a view looking directly to the Island ‘lady of the rock’ Public transport: bus service between Kotor and Risan The nearest airport is Tivat in Montenegro (about half hour drive from Perast) There are many restaurants along the Riviera. The space You enter the house from the main town sea Riviera just past the museum building approaching from the Risan parking end. There is a small but famous Orthodox church next to the house. The main entrance door leads into the kitchen and dining area with original stone walls, stone tiled floor with a utility room behind and under the stone steps. This includes a washing machine, dryer, sink unit, and storage for cleaning materials. The kitchen dining area contains a fitted kitchen with hob, oven, dishwasher large integrated fridge freezer and sink set in a polished granite worktop; and dining table with seating for four comfortably but six at a push. Straight ahead are the original stone spiral steps to the first floor with purpose designed alcove with background light. There are two fold away directors’ chairs which can be used to sit outside the house and enjoy the quiet square used by other local residents and shaded with a large palm tree. The square is set down slightly from the Riviera road which gives it a discrete and private feel. From the square three steps takes you to the ponta and sea From the first floor landing is a fully fitted family shower room with stone tile floor and walls which contains shower, wall mounted WC, and granite worktop mounted WHB and vanity cupboard under. Set in the wall is a tall utility cupboard and window. Ahead is the second double bedroom with twin beds with bedside table and lamp. A large fitted cupboard unit containing the hot water boiler for both shower/bathrooms gives ample space for clothes storage. The original stone walls are a quiet backdrop for the period design dressing table chair and mirror. A period Persian rug lies between the twin beds. The spiral staircase continues to the second floor now with a window view of the side of the church and rises into the landing leading directly to the master double bedroom. Within the bedroom access to fully fitted bathroom with stone tiled walls and floor bath/shower, WC and granite worktop mounted WHB and vanity cupboard under. The bedroom contains a period bed with two bedside tables and lamps. The original stone walls are a quiet backdrop for the period design dressing table chair and mirror. Two period Persian rugs lay either side of the bed. The spiral staircase leads to the top floor living area which has maintained the original timber pitched roof and stone walls. The large sliding panoramic glass doors lead to a small stone floor open terrace with stunning view looking directly to the Island ‘lady of the rock’ and famous entrance to the Boka Kotorski Bay. There is an outside weather table and chairs with retractable overhead awning. Interestingly, an external drop-rope and pulley, is available for easy access to the ground kitchen to haul up and down teas and meals and anything else. Within the enclosed living room is a double sofa and two comfortable arm chairs beside an open high level fireplace. A small fridge is installed in the recess under the fireplace. The living room is serviced with internet access and television with many channels available. The area is supported with a good sized table on a period Persian rug All bedrooms, the second floor sitting room, and ground floor are air conditioned and these units can also provide warm air heating as well as the wood burning top floor fireplace. There is an intercom system on each level allowing access to the front door. A child’s cot is available. Guest access whole house is available for occupation Other things to note Parking: Perast has been assigned as a non-drive through zone for years now and only properties with private parking have parking places secured. Tourists and visitors can park at the end of each side of the village. The Risan side that is very close to the house is owned by a Conte Hotel. That is the side guests should park if possible since it is very close to the house. The parking charge is changing every year.
