I am renting two rooms in the upstairs of the house. The minimum stay is 30 days. For one person the daily cost is $35 plus the Airbnb service fee. An additional person is $25 extra. There is no cleaning fee or other charges. This is the south bedroom. If this room is not available, check to see if the north bedroom is available. Kids are welcome. The space The house is a two-story bungalow. On the first floor where we live is a living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and a conservatory. Upstairs are the two bedrooms on AirBnB plus a bathroom shared between the two rooms (our family has our own bathroom on the first floor). The bed is a full-size bed (54 inches wide by 75 inches long). Towels are included. There is no television in your room but you are welcome to watch television in the living room. Breakfast is not included but you can use the kitchen to make your own breakfast and other meals. There is a front porch where you can sit and read and and in the back there is a large pond and extensive vegetable/flower garden. Guest access Guests will have access to the living room, dining room, and kitchen. During your stay Interaction with guests - as much or as little as you like. We are a social family but if you prefer privacy, we will respect that. Other things to note Cancellation Policy: Firm - Full refund up to 30 days before check-in. After that, the first 30 days of the stay are non-refundable. I have a shared driveway with my neighbor so there is no off-street parking but there is always plenty of parking available on the street. We do not have central air-conditioning but during the summer there will be a room air conditioner in your room to use at night. Madison Metro bus from the Dane County Airport - Take the D2 bus and get off at N. Paterson street. It takes 30 minutes and the cost is $2. We are two blocks from the Paterson/East Washington station on Madison's rapid transit bus line. The A or the B routes take you to the East Campus stop on the UW campus in 10 minutes. Madison Metro's route D and route 28 also take you to the UW-Campus. Route 28 also takes you directly to the UW-Hospital on Highland Avenue. Access those routes at the corner of E. Gorham/N. Paterson. The closest laundromat is CleanWard laundromat, 701 E. Johnson, a 10-minute walk from the house We are a 5-10 minute walk to the following places. MUSIC/ARTS VENUES: Arts + Literature Laboratory - 111 S. Livingston Street #100 (5 minute walk) Across from the Sylvee. A community-based contemporary arts center supporting the visual and literary arts, music and performance, and youth and adult arts education. High Noon Saloon - 701 E. Washington (10 minute walk) Large rustic venue offering nightly live music in a variety of genres, plus beer Breese Stevens Field - 917 E. Mifflin (5 minute walk) A stadium hosting 5000 for sporting events and over 9000 for concerts. It hosts about ten big-name concerts a year. Sylvee - 25 S. Livingston (5 minute walk) A 2,500-capacity live concert venue. GROCERIES/LIQUOR: Festival Foods - 810 E. Washington (5 minute walk) A full service grocery store with liquor and deli.
