Guests have access to nearby trailheads, including Cove Mountain Trail, and are a short drive from the park entrance, Ober Mountain, and the Parkway. Pigeon Forge and Dollywood are approximately 20 minutes away, and McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville is about an hour’s drive. Wildlife is part of the Smoky Mountain experience. While sightings are not guaranteed, guests may occasionally see black bear, deer, turkey, or other native wildlife from a safe distance. The road to the cabin is paved and well maintained. As with all mountain properties, winter weather may require four-wheel drive in the event of snow.
