Our home offers separate private guest accommodation in the downstairs of our house, with separate access for guests' convenience. Thames is well situated for travelers exploring the scenic Coromandel Peninsula, the Kauaeranga Valley and other attractions within the area. Easy access to walking tracks and the Hauraki Rail Trail. Beaches are within an easy drive. The space The Brook is located in a quiet street. We offer comfortable surroundings for people to relax and enjoy. The airbnb guest suite is spacious, tastefully decorated with separate bedroom, a comfortable queen size bed and quality bedding, electric blanket, spacious closet with shelves and coat hangers.. Please be aware the nightly rate gives you the Queen bed in the Bedroom only for 1 - 2 people, if you require separate sleeping arrangements there will be no extra charge for the extra single bed. In the living room there is space for one or two extra guests. There are 2 x single trundler beds available at an additional cost of $20 per night per person. The bathroom toilet is fully tiled with a good size walk-in shower and heat lamps. There is a large lounge/dining area with limited cooking facilities, however there is a microwave, a bench top oven, electric kettle, toaster, toasted sandwich maker, microwave egg poacher and fridge. Tea, coffee, milk, cutlery, crockery, glassware and sink are provided. A BBQ is available for guests use.. Off the main living area there is seating under the pergola to enjoy morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening, in a peaceful garden setting. So relax and listen to the birdsong from the native bird life that visit our garden seasonally. Browse at the popular Saturday morning market or enjoy a coffee in one of the many cafes. Guest access Guest parking is off road and adjacent to guest entrance. Use of hosts laundry and clothes line is available by arrangement. A $ 5.00 fee applies for use of washing machine. Other things to note There are two steps at the guest entrance.
