The first floor features two bedrooms, each with a private balcony and an attached washroom, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills. On the ground floor, a cozy hall welcomes you with a large sitting area, perfect for unwinding. One corner is a dedicated reading nook, complete with a small library featuring novels across genres. The other corner houses a kitchenette, equipped with an electric kettle, microwave, mini refrigerator, and essential crockery for your convenience. Step outside to two verandas—one at the entrance to catch the morning sunrise and another on the south side for breathtaking sunsets. A spacious terrace lets you soak in panoramic views, making you feel on top of the world. The house is surrounded by open space where you can walk, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and reconnect with nature. Dining & Kitchen Access: Our in-house kitchen is operated by us, and guests do not have access. Our cook is available from 8 AM to 7 PM, serving fresh, home-cooked meals from a thoughtfully curated menu. Experience seasonal and traditional dishes for an authentic taste of the region. ~ Meals are not included in the tariff. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home except for rooms that have not been booked. All common open spaces are available for your use, offering ample room to relax, unwind, and enjoy the surroundings. The house is spacious and private, ensuring a peaceful and comfortable stay. You are welcome to use the verandas, terrace, and large outdoor areas—perfect for enjoying the views, reading, or simply soaking in the fresh mountain air. Guests are free to walk around the property and nearby trails. The environment is secluded, safe, and secure, making it ideal for quiet morning walks or evening strolls. Please note that staff and house members may access common areas such as the living hall and outdoor spaces for routine work, maintenance, or assistance. Kitchen access is restricted. However, our in-house cook is available daily from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, serving freshly prepared home-cooked meals from a fixed menu. A caretaker is present at the property at all times to assist you with any needs during your stay. During your stay Kailaso is a vacation home, and while we don’t stay on-site, we live just 2 km away in a nearby village. We frequently visit the property to ensure everything is comfortable and to interact with our guests. For anything you need during your stay, our caretaker is available on-site to assist you. Whether it’s meal requests, local recommendations, or any assistance, we’re always just a call away to make your stay seamless and enjoyable. Other things to note 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐤: The house is not directly connected to a road. To reach the property, guests must trek 500 meters through an uneven path (200 meters downhill, 200 meters uphill, and 100 meters of leveled terrain). Please wear comfortable, sturdy shoes for the trek. 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠: Vehicles can be parked at a safe, common village parking area, from where the trek to the property begins. 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠: As the property is on a hilltop with no streetlights on the path, we highly recommend reaching before dark for a safer trek. 𝐋𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: Since trekking is involved, we are happy to assist with transporting your luggage. We suggest packing in backpacks or duffle bags rather than trolley suitcases for easier handling. 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: Kailaso is a homestay, not a hotel. While we ensure comfort and hospitality, we seek your understanding in appreciating the charm of a personalized, home-like experience over standard hotel services. 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 & 𝐃𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: As all meals are prepared fresh, we request guests to share their food preferences in advance to help us serve you better. 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: There is no air conditioner, but pedestal fans are available if needed. 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲: Due to the hilltop location, occasional electricity or internet fluctuations may happen, though they are rare. Most of the time, services run smoothly, but we encourage guests to be prepared for minor, short-lived disruptions that are common in remote areas. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: If guests need anything from the market, we can help while getting our own groceries from the village market. For special requests, our caretaker can assist in picking up items at an additional cost. 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐢𝐝: While we provide basic first aid and common medications, we strongly recommend bringing any specific medicines you may need, as they may not be readily available locally.
