Kailaso - Private Room in a Hill Top Cottage

The house is on a hill top amidst the pine jungle backed by the mighty Dhauladhar mountain range and overlooking the beautiful Kangra Valley. For the people who love to be in nature or are looking for Retreat or to rejuvenate themselves, this place is for you. You can Meditate, do yoga or just sit back and relax, away from the routine hustle bustle of your otherwise busy lives. The house is not connected with motorable road. You have to hike for 500 Meters to reach the property The space It's a 2 storey stand alone house with 2 Bedrooms on first floor. Each rooms is connected with private Balcony and Washroom. One Hall on ground floor with big sitting area. One corner of the hall is specially set up for book lovers ( yes, we have our own small Library with Novels of various genre). The other corner has a Kitchenette which has an Electric kettle, Microwave, mini refrigerator and some crockery. The house has 2 Verandas, one at the entrance ( for sunrise) and other on the south Side ( to enjoy the sunset). We also have a terrace, standing on it will give you the feeling of being on top of the world. There is a large area around the house where you can roam around and feel yourself connected to the nature. The Kitchen is operated by us. Our cook is available at the property from 8 in morning until 7 in the evening. We have a small menu and serve home cooked food. You can also get to taste some seasonal/traditional dishes which will give you and authentic food experience. Guest access The guests have access to the whole house except for the bedroom which they have not booked and the kitchen. During your stay This is a vacation home so we Live in nearby Village. However frequently visit the place to interact with our guests. The Care taker lives nearby so will be available all the time at the property. Other things to note The House is away from the Road and the path is 500 meters of an uneven trail. you have to walk down 200 meters to the water stream and then hike up to reach to the property. We suggest our guests to carry good pair of shoes and also prefer Rucksacks and Back packs over trolley bags as they are easy to carry. The luggage transportation will be taken care by us.
