Guest access The barn is independent, but the small farm is accessible to visitors, but children should be supervised. Helpers are always welcome with grapes or olive crops. Sorry, no wheelchair accessible. An hour and a half drive from Lisbon, two hours from Porto. Trains are clean, fast and cheap for Pombal or Tomar. A 35 euro local taxi can be arranged to or from the train station. Other things to note Why not treat yourself to an autumn break, in this beautiful area of outstanding beauty. It has a bank, 2 supermarkets, 4 bars, bakery, fresh bread daily, pharmacy, doctors, 2 hairdressers, clothing store, jewelers and a beautiful church. Within 15 minutes are many lovely villages and river beaches. Many river beaches such as Castanheira da Pera with wave machine and the coast is a 90 minute drive. Every small town has its own festivals so there is always something to see and do.
