Welcome to Sodam Stay! Sodam Stay is a han-ok located quietly in a residential area in Gongdeok-dong, in the middle of Seoul, which has lots of historical background of the city! It is a good place to enjoy the sun shines in the yard in the morning, listen to the rain on a rainy day, and spend a peaceful weekend. • Easy Access: Airport Bus Stop 3 mins & Subway Station 7 mins • Han-Ok: Remodeled traditional Korean house han-ok in modern style. • Safety: Certified tourist convenience facility The space / Things We Value / • CLEANLINESS - Bedding and towels are cleaned for each guest, and space is also thoroughly cleaned. • SPACE - Sodam Stay is a space that remodeled traditional Korean house han-ok in modern style. All of our furniture, electronic devices, and accessories are things that our couple is also using or would love to use. • BEDDING - We provide MUJI products for bedding. We carefully selected it because it is the fabric that touches the skin of the guest for the longest time (Please tell us if you would like to use a separate blankets when booking for two). There are both a high pillow and a low pillow so you can choose it according to your preference. • MUSIC & BOOK - We did not deliberately put TV on Sodam Stay. Instead, there are music and books. This is also a way of life that our couple is aiming for. It is our hope to keep our guests focused on music, books, and conversations with people who stay with you during the stay at Sodam Stay. There is a Harman Kardon Aura Studio Bluetooth speaker. Its sound spreads all over the house. Relax in the space where the music is flowing, or spend time reading a book lying on the floor in the yard. (*Recently, at the request of guests who are self-quarantine, TV with a chromecast has been put in place.) • FOOD & COFFEE - Gongdeok Sodam street is a place where lots of restaurants are loved by nearby workers. There are also a lot of roaster coffee houses and drinkable pubs around Sodam Stay. We will recommend places that our foodie couple likes. • SAFETY - Sodam Stay is a place which has been approved as a tourist convenience facility and a place for Korean-style house experience in Mapo-gu. There are digital door lock and fire extinguishers(fire extinguishers, flashlights, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, etc). There is a nearby police station, so security is great in this area. • ACCESSIBILITY - It takes 55 minutes from Incheon International Airport and 17 minutes from Gimpo International Airport. It is located in a 7-minute walk (flanland) from Gongdeok Station Exit 4 (Escalator). The airport bus stop is a 3-minute walk away. It is also close to both Seoul and Yongsan Train Station, so it should be a good option for local tourists as well.
