Welcome to La Grange de Germaine: Comfortable, tastefully decorated granite stone cottage. An ideally located place to experience an unforgettable stay and a total change of scenery. La Margeride is a paradise of calm and Lozère authenticity. You will stay in a peaceful haven perfect for outdoor sports: hiking, biking, fishing, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing or mushroom picking. This preserved territory is also that of wolves and bison. Go and meet them! The space The Gîte "La Grange de Germaine"*** is nestled in a small hamlet in the heart of La Margeride, at an altitude of more than 1000 meters, north of the Lozère, just 15 minutes from the A75. 🌿 Located 2 hours north of Montpellier and 1h30 south of Clermont-Ferrand. This 3-star furnished tourist cottage welcomes you for a stay combining nature, comfort and authenticity. The cottage is ideally placed for lovers of hiking, cycling (with possible rental of mountain biking and electric mountain biking) or horseback riding. You can also enjoy mushroom picking, with porcini mushrooms and chanterelles within easy reach. Discover the richness of the region: visit the European bison, the Gevaudan wolves, the Bouviers resort (Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, sled dogs, cani-cross, hiking...), not to mention the lakes of Ganivet, Moulinet and Charpal, the Truc de Fortunio, the fortified city of Malzieu, ranked among the "Most beautiful villages in France", the city of Mende and its Gévaudan museum... The cottage is also located at the gates of Aubrac, one hour from the Gorges du Tarn and the Lioran ski resort. 🍄‍🟫🍄🚵⛰️🌲☀️🍂🚶🥾🍄🍄‍🟫 This accommodation of about 75 m² extends over two levels and consists of: 🌿 A large, warm, spacious and bright living room of more than 35 m², with a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area that can accommodate 6 to 8 people. 🌿 A comfortable seating area with 140 cm sofa bed, 102 cm flat screen TV, Chromecast and Bluetooth USB CD radio. For convivial moments, a waffle iron, a crepe maker, a fondue machine and a raclette machine are at your disposal. 🥞🧇 💤 Free fiber 💤 wifi throughout the cottage 🌿 This main room opens onto an intimate terrace of 15m², equipped with a garden furniture, umbrella, 3 sunbaths, 2 Chilean, coffee table and barbecue (depending on season). Private garden. 🌿 A sleeping area composed of two large bedrooms of 13m² each, each with a 140x190 bed and large built-in closets. The first bedroom also includes an office space. 🌡️Rooms stay cool in summer. 🌿 A spacious shower room and independent toilet with handwasher. ▶️ Some details: Linens (sheets, towels, dishcloths, bath mats...) are not provided but can be rented at the time of booking request (see below) Free parking in front of the cottage No smoking allowed 🚭 No pets are allowed Cleaning is done between each tenant, but we ask that you take care of the accommodation and make it as clean as when you arrived (cleaning products provided) Electric or thermal car charging is not allowed (terminals nearby) House parties not accepted ▶️ Services offered: Electric floor heating set for your comfort (excluding summer period) Childcare equipment: crib, mattress, highchair, cane stroller, lots of games and baby books Numerous board games and books available for young and old ▶️ Paid services: Bed linen rental: €15 per bed Towel rental: €7 per person Cleaning fee: €70 ▶️ These services are to be requested when you book.
