Just a 20-minute car drive from Rome's city center, this is the perfect place for those who want to stay close to nature, archaeology, and history while visiting Rome. The 60-square-meter cottage features country-style living with typical stone and wood ceilings, an authentic kitchen, one comfortable bedroom, a bathroom, and access to a large 5000-square-meter garden with ancient pine trees. This place is perfect for those who want to relax and experience Rome in its entirety. Relax in comfort on sun chairs or enjoy an enchanting dinner under the pine trees and stars, as the garden transforms into an extension of the house with its inviting seating and dining areas. You can use the garden for breakfast, dining, barbecues, or simply to fall asleep in the summer breeze. Several tables and chairs are available throughout the garden to relax and enjoy nature day and night. The cottage sits within an extensive archaeological park next to a museum. Multiple restaurants are within walking distance. Bus stop to the city center is 700m away. Several restaurants are 500m nearby. The nearest supermarket can be reached by car in 4 minutes (2.4 km). The interiors are equipped with high-speed WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, oven, induction stove, and silent high-performance air conditioning. A secured parking space inside the garden is included free of charge. You can use the garden facilities to eat and relax under the shade of ancient trees. Kids can play on the huge grassy field and enjoy the two recently installed swings. We share our garden with two lovely cats, Lilly and Nerone, who roam freely around the property. Guest access This cottage has its own private entrance, so you can come and go as you like. You'll have your own dedicated garden area, a dedicated parking spot, and access to the larger property grounds: perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. My family lives nearby in a separate building on the property, so we're always available if you need assistance or local recommendations, but you'll have complete privacy during your stay. Other things to note While some public transportation, taxis, and Uber are available in the area, having your vehicle will make getting around significantly easier and give you more flexibility to explore Rome, the countryside, and nearby attractions at your own pace. We recommend coming by car. The nearest supermarket is a 5-minute car drive away. We have two cats, Lilly and Nerone, roaming freely around the garden.
