Log House on Michigan Beach. Weekly only.

This is our summer home and it is rented just a few weeks per year. Swimming, sailing, boating, fishing, off-road trails, beach fires, and hiking. This is a special part of the North Woods that visitors love, and many return. I know a lot of owners tack on a bunch of fees. Our price has stayed the same sine 1998. Debbie, our cleaner charges 100.00 and she spends 3 to 4 hours doing it. I’m sorry the web site charges so much, but there’s not much I can do about it. The space Ours is a 2100 sq. ft. log house in Cedarville Township, MI, on the shore of Green Bay across from Gills Rock, Door County, WI. We look at Gills Rock from the vintage glider on the porch and the view is quite expansive. The house sits on the beach, which is all sand, and walking is delightful in either direction. The water is warm and clear, and is shallow near the beach with several sandbars in the near the shore. This makes the spot ideal for children. There is a municipal harbor and boat ramp 4 miles south of the house with very good fishing. The area is rural. The house is prepared for your visit: Dish TV with Chicago locals and ROKU with Acorn, Amazon Prime, Netflix and Starz. It is fully furnished with a modern, well-equipped kitchen with a Viking Stove. Please bring your own sheets and towels. Pets are not allowed. Please do not smoke inside the house. Feel free to bring your own boat. We anchor ours between the sandbars. A cleaning fee of 100.00 is required and is the be left on the counter for the cleaner. Guest access Guests may access all the rooms in the house. Other things to note There is a 1 week minimum stay in the summer. 4-night weekends are acceptable, if the house is not rented 1 week prior. Longer or shorter visits will be considered. There a 3 external cameras. Rear exterior wall facing driveway and garage. Dormer facing beach. Rear porch facing lake and sitting area. 2 Inside cameras. Dining room window facing neighbors house (Security) and living room unplugged. Cameras are for off season use not activated when rented.
