Interior designed, luxurious, spacious (90 Sqm) 2 bedroom, 2 (ensuite) bathroom duplex apartment with parking in bohemian Kensal Rise, located just north of Portobello & Notting Hill. Features a master bedroom suite with antique poster bed, large comfortable, well equipped living room (cable, flat screen, Sonos) leading to a fully equipped eat in kitchen. A large kids bedroom on the upper floor with en suite shower. Sleeps max 4 adults or family of 5. Well suited for families with children. The space Larger than average, bright, comfortable, interior designed first floor duplex apartment, which is our family home where we live part time. Key features include: - A sumptuous 6m x 5m living room with a luxurious mix of antique, contemporary and bespoke furniture and lighting, plus a 42" flatscreen TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime & BBCiPlayer and Sonos Sound Bar (bluetooth compatible). In the wooden chest under the TV there are various board games. There is high speed fibreoptic broadband also, so a room you can both relax, entertain or work in. - A 6m x 3.5m master bedroom suite with an 18th century four poster bed leading to an ensuite bathroom with large comfortable bath, overhead shower and hand held shower. Fresh fluffy towels and toiletries supplied on arrival and there is a large flat screen wall mounted TV + cable in the room, if you want those lazy lie-ins or fancy a cosy movie in bed. The mattress is bespoke and pocket sprung with a goose feather topper. Pillows and duvet the finest Hungarian goose down covered in John Lewis Soft & Silky bedding. Overlooking the garden it's a quiet room too for a peaceful nights sleep. - An eat in, fully equipped kitchen with zinc top table and varnished steel chairs, seating 6, perfect for entertaining or a leisurely breakfast. The kitchen leads from and is open to the living room making it a social space too. It has a Nespresso Coffee Machine, Vitamix, Kenwood Food Processor, Sana Cold Press Juicer and microwave along side the oven, hob, large fridge, Le Creuset cookware etc. - Large second bedroom in the loft is used as a child's room, with a small ensuite shower (non restricted hight) and toilet (restricted height). This room has both a children's single bed (160cm) as well as an IKEA single 'day bed' that can extend to an occasional double with White Company Bedding on feather duvets, pillows and mattress toppers. This is a perfect family room and has Lego and books for various ages (stored tidily!) belonging to my 14 year old boy, that you are free to play with. Please note this is a lived in family home, not a 'rental apartment' or B&B. Guest access This is a first floor duplex apartment, forming a family home. It has a separate door from the downstairs apartment (garden flat). The apartment is a home and has personal belongings inside. It is not a 'rental apartment'. The entire flat is free for guests to use. There will be cupboard and drawer space for your use in both bedrooms. The apartment is well suited for families with children and can sleep 3 children and a family of 5. It is not particularity well suited for a 5 adults due to the sleeping and bathroom arrangements. Toys as books in the upstairs bedroom will be neatly stored in drawers but available to play with should you have children of your own. Check in usually is 3pm onwards and check out can be flexible depending on our schedule - please ask for late check out. . Car parking is available on request but needs to be registered on a daily basis. Other things to note The single bed is a child's bed measuring 160cm - it is not suitable for an adult. We have a travel cot for babies on request but no bedding. Please do use the make up remover and cotton pads which are in the main bathroom to help our towels and bedding! A Housekeeper is available for cleaning on request. Please note this is a lived in family home, not a 'rental apartment' or B&B. Perfect for a family of 5 (with children) or 4 adults. Above 4 people staying we charge a small additional fee.
