Valley View-Sonoma Mountain Terrace

Take your wine country tour to a new level with a visit to Sonoma Mountain Terrace, a unique agri-tourism stay on a luxurious, non-traditional dairy farm. Nestled in the foothills of wine country, Sonoma Mountain provides a farm experience like none other, with the opportunity to feed a baby calf, observe milking our elite show cows, or just enjoy "being unplugged." Take a stroll through our extensive gardens, or enjoy million-dollar sunsets each night overlooking Petaluma & Rohnert Park. The space Your studio is set on 50 acres in the hills overlooking Sonoma County. The apartment is cozy and you can walk right outside to view sprawling vineyards and large oak trees. Your private studio is located right near our main house and field of cows (we are both quiet neighbors!) Your room will be furnished with high quality linens on a queen size bed. Foodies can celebrate as you will also enjoy a kitchen equipped with high-quality cookware and basic condiments to create your own "farm to fork" experience! Also included in the kitchen are both a french press and traditional coffee maker, with a variety of coffees and teas to choose from. The grounds are open to weddings and events from 10-250 people, and we encourage you to tour the gardens and oak groves. Cocktail/Pizza Oven parties up to 50 people can also be offered in the main house in a spacious gathering area with a view you won't find anywhere else! Any private events are subject to additional rental fees. Guest access Overnight guests will have full access to their private studio duplex apartment. You will have your own private entrance, kitchen & bathroom. Numerous well-placed patios offer full panoramic valley views or overlook the 60 feet of naturally landscaped waterfalls set in front of mature oaks & Sonoma Mountain view. As a guest you are welcome to walk the grounds and enjoy pastoral views of cattle grazing, wide open panoramic views of local vineyards, and picnics among the oak trees and waterfalls await you. The opportunity for biking and hiking is literally right out the front door! Perfect for beginners or those in training for competition. Other things to note We have lived in Sonoma County all our lives, and truly enjoy sharing this part of the world with any and all friends who make this their vacation escape! We highly recommend planning extra time to visit Bodega Bay, Pt Reyes National Seashore, Napa, Yountville, St Helena, Sebastopol, Petaluma, Egg Basket of the World, World's Wrist Wrestling Championships, Vintage Car Shows, California Artisan Cheese Festival, BBQ Competitions, Wine Country, California Redwoods, Armstrong Grove, and the mighty Pacific Ocean. Located near Sonoma State University, Green Music Center and Weil Hall & Schroeder Hall, you'll also find a vast micro-brew culture as well with such well-known breweries as Lagunitas, Petaluma Hills, 101North, and HenHouse Brewing Co.
