Description
Clarendon Cottage is a few minutes walk from the beautiful sandy beaches of Broadstairs, and close to the town's pubs, restaurants and shops. Next to Broadstairs station, which is 80 minutes by rail from London's St Pancras Intl. Off street parking. Formerly known as Crampton's Cottage, but we now brought back the original name Clarendon Cottage. The space Clarendon Cottage is part of a terraced row built in the 1840s to house workers constructing the railway line that connects Broadstairs to Ramsgate and Margate. The line now links the beautiful Thanet coastline to London’s St Pancras International Station, just 80 minutes journey-time away. The cottage is a couple of minutes walk from Broadstairs railway station, and five minutes walk from the pubs, restaurants and lovely sandy beaches at the heart of the town. While small, the cottage has two double bedrooms, a spacious modern fitted kitchen, and a cosy living room with a sofa-bed. There is room to park a car in the front yard, and further parking is available at the side of the house. The cottage’s unique character is enhanced by a collection of the owner’s original expressionist artwork. Guest access You are renting the whole house including a small enclosed back yard that is very useful if you want to store bikes etc as there is a private side entrance. -- Having said that our neighbour, Maggie, has the right to use this entrance when she needs to. Other things to note It is a charming cottage with cul-de-sac access to the footpath. It is a small and cosy place, but very bright and convinently located.
