Lake-View, 2BR Apt w/Full Kitchen ~ Fluvanna

Our fully furnished, family & dog friendly, lake view apartment is waiting for you. Come enjoy lake views, garden walks, and our open concept, eco living space. The apartment is situated on a quiet street perfect for dog walks & bike rides and conveniently close to restaurants, the highway, and nearby tourist destinations. We will try our best to accommodate reasonable early check ins when requested, dependent on our full-time work schedules. The space As avid travelers ourselves, we designed a space where we would love to stay. Special amenities include an open-plan living space to socialize with your friends, high end cooking pots/pans/utensils for creating meals at the apartment and thoughtful lighting. The two bedrooms are cozy and the beds are comfortable complete with 100% organic cotton sheets. Our goal was to incorporate lots of natural building techniques into the renovation including lime plaster in the kitchen and bathroom as well as rejuvenating the original pine flooring in the kitchen and repurposing "barnwood-like" planks found on the walls while renovating the space. Guest access We have a spacious driveway. Please park anywhere, but do not block our vehicles in. Lake access: Chautauqua Lake has only 2.6 miles of public access shoreline. Our property is not part of those 2.6 miles, but we have scenic lake views. We believe we live in a beautiful neighborhood and think that you will agree. Other things to note If you are planning to bring a dog, please inform us so that we can get the space ready for your four-legged friends. This involves putting on a couch protector and providing a black trashcan for bagged dog waste to the left of the door. Dogs are also to be leashed once they are out of the apartment. Please do not let your dog go to the bathroom in our vegetable garden. No cats allowed. We have a young daughter who we put to bed around 7:30 - 8pm. She may sometimes cry for five minutes or so when we put her down. Note - our house is over 100 years old and you will likely hear some noise as we walk around, especially the gallop of a toddler.
