Cosy country cottage in the Brecon Beacons

Welcome to our 145 year old cosy cottage in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. We are located in a perfect location in the countryside in the quaint village of Defynnog on the A4067, 8 miles from the base of Pen y Fan. Our cottage can comfortably accommodate 4 adults, plus there is a sofa bed which could accommodate an additional 2 adults if required. Your own bOur aim is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible whilst here, and we will be at the end of the phone should you need us The space Our traditional stone cottage is nestled in the perfect location if you fancy exploring some of Wales' best walks or even if you just wanted to escape and recharge. We are situated along a row of beautiful traditional stone cottages which back onto the village Church on the north side of the Brecon Beacons National Park where an abundance of tourist attractions await. Not only are we just around the corner from Pen Y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales, there is also the National Showcaves, picturesque reservoirs, beautiful waterfalls, Brecon canal boats, Penderyn whiskey distillery, lakes and local towns & villages to explore. The cottage offers a perfect location on the A4067 with local pubs and a cafe within a stones throw away. The charming village of Sennybride is a two-minute drive or 13-minute walk from the cottage which hosts country pubs, restaurants, a fish & chip shop, garages and a few local shops. The cottage also has excellent transport links to the main cities of Swansea and Cardiff and local towns of Llandovery and Brecon itself with bus stops just outside. Guest access The entire cottage together with the garden will be at guests full discretion to use as required. Other things to note Please note that there is a Chromecast attached to the TV. The kitchen radio has Bluetooth connectivity. There is guidance in the welcome book concerning the functioning of the electrical devises. Given that the property backs onto the local village Church, the garden is located across the road (A4067) and has a few steps up into it. Although the sofa bed can accommodate an additional 2 adults, bedding will not be provided for this so you would need to provide your own.
