2 br semi-detached cottage, 2 mins from Princes Hwy, lovely setting, heart of beautiful Shoalhaven. Sleeps 4-5. Pet-friendly. Owners live on-site. Also available and listed separately, a smaller, budget-style unit, (also pet-friendly) ideal for single or a couple, through travellers who don't need the additional space, and which can be booked independently or as an extension of the cottage, for larger groups. The space The cottage is bright and light with deep covered verandah which lends itself to outdoor relaxation any time of day. Exclusive use of approx half of the site (1 acre, fully fenced), and featuring handsome shady scribbly gums that attract a delightful range of native birds, and we enjoy a very pleasant pastoral view towards a large dam to the East. Main bedroom comfy QS bed, built in robes, 2nd bedroom bunk bed with double base and single above, clothes hanging space and drawers. Shower room with vanity, and separate toilet with handbasin. Small dining niche between kitchen and sitting room. Also separate, secure, back yard. Guest access Together with the space referred to above, the cottage also offers a dog-fenced secure yard directly off the back door (small doggy door fitted). The rear of the property (bush fence-line area, including hen house) is off-limits, as is the owner's enclosed back yard and separate private deck. We have swings available to guests, and request that parents ensure children's safety when using them. Guests in the main cottage also have access to a small enclosed rose garden and a fire pit in winter (by negotiation). There is plenty of parking space, including for boats, caravans, etc. One undercover carport, and plenty of open space for additional vehicles if necessary. Other things to note We provide a selection of breakfast ingredients in your pantry for you to prepare yourselves at your convenience. We are not permitted to have a stove but alternative arrangements can be made if microwave, toaster, electric frypan and sandwich toaster plus BBQ are insufficient for your needs. Our base rates are a guideline for low season only, for two adults. Well-behaved, house-trained pets are welcome by negotiation, but must not be left unsupervised except by negotiation. When requesting a booking, please confirm that any pets are house-trained and well behaved, as well as their breed and age, and if any children in the group, their names, age and sex, please.
