Quaint Cornish Fisherman’s Cottage

A charming 17th century fisherman’s cottage, which is only a 9 minute walk to the beautiful historic harbour village of Boscastle. Located on the North Coast close to Tintagel,Bude, Port Isaac, Padstow, Rock, and the secret cove of Crackington Havern Tamarisk Cottage has all the Cornish charm you would expect, open fire place, it’s own secret garden and a Cornish cream tea to welcome you after your long drive. We have WiFi and Netflix for the day’s where you want to snuggle by the open fire. The space Tamarisk cottage boasts an open fire place in the lounge area, a cosy courtyard to enjoy your morning coffee and a very short stroll to your very own secret garden, where you will find a vintage summer house and a fire pit/bbq for you to enjoy. All these things make Tamarisk cottage a unique place to visit. At Tamarisk Cottage, it’s very important we make our guests feel extra special so we offer everyone a Cornish Cream Tea. Our very local country inn, is located a stones throw away. They’re highly recommended on Trip advisor, so no need to cook on your first night. Or take a trip down to the Harbour to enjoy your first taste of Cornish Fish and Chips. We would highly recommend Boscastle farm shop, the views are outstanding and their breakfasts are second to none. Boscastle is in a valley, so can be steep in places. The cottage is located at the top of the village. There are numerous walks along the coastal path for avid walkers, or more gentle strolls for the family. This makes Boscastle the ideal holiday destination. Other things to note We have a parking space located approximately 30 metres from the property. This will be available to all guests from the 1st of April 2022. Please see photos. Although the cottage sleeps 4 guests, the single bed pulls out so there’s a floor mattress. This is a squeeze, but still comfortable. Please note if you choose this bedroom layout, you will be unable to close the door. The secret garden is a very short distance. Go out the courtyard gate, up the steps follow the path and look out for the flag pole, this will show you the way. Please note, Boscastle is located in a valley which means it’s hilly in places. We are located at the top of the hill.
