It is listed as a Robinson Crusoe style apartment as this part of the island has still no connection to the electrical grid or water supply. Although, it is a perfect location for total relaxation. The apartment is situated in one of the many bays on the south coast of the Hvar island, near the village of Gdinj, 45 min drive from the city of Hvar. The space Our new and comfortable 2 bedroom apartment is just a few steps from the sea in a bay of Srhov Dolac, near the village Gdinj, on the south coast of island Hvar. It can accommodate 2 couples or a family with 2 kids. It has a beautiful view of the sea, and a private beach in front of the house where you can enjoy a full day of swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing... Guest access Balcony overlooking the sea, and a terrace with coffee lounge, private beach, pebble beach (100 meters away) that goes from shallow to deep, family friendly. Other things to note This is a Robinson Crusoe style accommodation. Our apartment uses energy from renewable sources. Electric energy is obtained from the sun by transformation via solar panels and it is stored in batteries for the night use. Therefore, high power appliances like air conditioners and electric barbecues are not possible to connect. Water is obtained from the rainfall. Sometimes in the apartment during the hot days it can be hot, so we provide air fans to help circulate the air during your stay. Hot water is also obtained via solar collectors, through the hot water tank. Internet is available on WiFi, but sometimes during congestion hours you could have troubles connecting.
