The farm is located on the sunny side 1100 meters above Viehhofen and is easily accessible in winter and summer via a paved mountain road. In normal snow conditions, the descent in the morning on the freshly groomed slope no. 68 to the ski lift is of course possible. In the evening, after a stop at the Hecherhütte, you can also ski directly via a powder snow descent or via the slope to the Raggensteinhof. In summer you can start by bike directly from the apartment and explore the endless mountain bike trails in the region without driving. Or you can start at the front door and hike past rustic alpine huts to the peaks over 2000 m high, with views of the Hohe Tauern with the Großglockner, which at 3798 m is the highest mountain in Austria! And if you can't get enough of skiing, you can also ski in the region in SUMMER. Just a 15-minute drive away is the Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area, with the motto: skiing in the morning and swimming in the afternoon at Lake Zell! For motorcycle enthusiasts, the apartment offers the perfect starting point for exploring the most beautiful mountain passes in the Alps, including the Grossglockner High Alpine Road.
