The lake is motor-free and is calm and great for swimming and floating. Fishing enthusiasts can try their luck with the trout in the lake (fishing gear not provided). You can walk into the water from the property, and we are next to the community dock for boat launching. We recommend bringing water shoes if you plan to walk out from the shallow side as the bank directly on our property can be muddy. -- OUTDOOR AMENITIES -- Enjoy the lake views from our spacious deck, complete with two BBQs (gas and charcoal), or lounge in our reclining chairs on the yard. Our hot tub is available year-round (7AM-11PM) and is kept spotless and cleaned and rebalanced between every guest. -- BEDROOMS -- The cabin has two bedrooms and a pull-out sofa. The loft bedroom has stunning lake views and a king bed with privacy curtains that double as a projector for watching movies or playing games from bed. The loft requires stairs to access. The ground floor bedroom has a queen bed and forest view. Both bedrooms have premium hotel-quality mattresses and linens that are new from 2021. The pull-out size is Queen sized and can be set up on request: note that the cabin is small and utilizing the pull-out will take up most of the living room. We welcome up to 6 guests but recommend maximum 5 adults for the best experience. --LIVING AND DINING-- Enjoy floor-to-ceiling lake views with a wood burning fireplace. Our kitchen provides all the essentials for cooking. Note that our dishwasher is compact (not full-size) so larger dishes and pans will need to be cleaned by hand. We a full-sized oven and stove but do not have a microwave. Our dining table expands to seating for up to 6 people. --BATHROOM-- The ground floor bathroom is newly renovated with a tub/shower and all the essential amenities. Guest access Access: The property is accessed via Yale/August smart lock, you will receive a code in advance. Parking: There is parking for 2-3 vehicles onsite. Community: This is a quiet lake community, quiet hours and respect for neighbors will be expected. Our hot tub is unavailable after 11PM: firepit and outdoor areas used after 11PM must be used quietly. Other things to note We are family friendly! Amenities for kids include: kids' utensils, board games, and some small toys. Note that our yard is open and has some steep portions and steps, so please supervise children while outside. Our cabin has a small compact dishwasher, pots and pans will need to be hand washed. In the summer, the community dock may be busy and may have children and families swimming and enjoying the lake in front of the property. We allow up to 2 dogs, with a pet fee of $70. Our outdoor deck is fenced, but the rest of our 1/2 acre property is not: therefore your dog must be leashed at all times while outdoors. Our neighbors are extremely sensitive to dogs or children taking even one step over the property line and will monitor via motion camera even if they are not home. Please bring your own towels to wipe off wet/muddy dogs, and clean up after your pet. For security, we have outdoor cameras at points of entry to the property. Camera 1 is facing the driveway coming in, and Camera 2 faces outward from the outside of the deck towards the lake. The cameras do not face the hot tub or outdoor dining, and footage is only reviewed if there are reported issues. The area is subject to occasional power outages and burn bans. We do not offer compensation for regional burn bans or road closures. We offer compensation for daytime power outages over 90 minutes. The region is subject to occasional snow, we provide maintenance but do not have daily services, therefore if it snows the day of or during your stay the property will be subject to snow and ice.
