We welcome people from all backgrounds to stay in our home and enjoy the peaceful tranquility of living in a Sasak fishing village right near the beach. Villa Mandalika is a large family house that offers 2 queen bedrooms for 4 adults one with ensuite and the other with private balcony upstairs. Villa Mandalika has 2 children's bedrooms ... one with 4 king singles the other with 2 singles so we can cater for 10 people. Being two story, it offers a fully functional kitchen and 3 living areas which includes 2 large balconies, 4 larfge bedrooms that can sleep 10 people and a large family bathroom and en-suite off the ground floor master bedroom. All of this is housed within a safe and private garden just 200 meters from the beautiful Mangsit beach. At Villa Mandalika, there is plenty of space for everyone to relax. Just over the road is Mangsit Beach and some of Lombok's best restaurants which makes it a perfect place to stay during your holiday. NUF Said Warung offers the best and freshest seafood on a budget and warung Sasak cooks the best local food...so fresh and tasty....the menus are in our villa....you can even order in! Swimming, snorkelling, surfing and dining are on your doorstep. If you want to rent surf boards, just ask Luie! Guests will have access to the entire house and garden. There is space for off street parking. You are welcome to use the kitchen to prepare food. Breakfast essentials will be provided for your self catering needs. We provide bread, milk, butter, jam, juice, tea, coffee, milk and fresh drinking water. Ibu Rusnah is available to do laundry as you require and has a prepared list of costs. Villa Mandalika is wheel chair friendly. Access from the back yard would mean one step up to the back balcony. The downstairs area is very wheelchair friendly as all of the internal doors leading from the balcony into the lounge, kitchen, family bathroom, bedroom 1 and ensuite are double doors which would enable wheel chair access. Pak Luie will greet you on arrival and will be available to offer you advice about Lombok to make your stay the best it can be. Luie can speak English and is there to help you. Our sister, Rusnah and brother-in-law Nardi have limited English language skills, but are so committed to making you comfortable and happy. They will keep our house in tip-top shape for you. They will clean for you, do laundry and organise any daily shopping that you may require. If you need anything, all you have to do is ask. Knowing that Rusnah and Nardi are living In the house behind offers security for our guests. Villa Mandalika is on the edge of Mangsit village. Being so close to the beach makes it and ideal place to spend your vacation. Mangsit is quieter than Senggigi but is renowned for its beautiful boutique villa resorts. They offer fine dining and elegant service. 3 doors down Gang Mandalika is Molly's bar and restaurant that provides quality food and beverages at a cheaper price. There are an assortment of restaurants along the beach so Mangsit is the perfect place to relax and dine out for breakfast lunch or dinner. Villa Mandalika offers you the opportunity to get away and still have your privacy. Staying in motels is ok for a while, but spending quality time with your friends and loved ones in a private house is much better. Villa Mandalika is a quiet place to stay. After 9:30pm, the entire village is sleeping and the peacefulness of village living prevails. Just over the road is the beautiful Qunci Villas - the perfect place for a sunset cocktail or dinner. The beach is lined with luxurious villas and excellent restaurants. For Rp 100,000 per person, why not swim at the Holiday Inn Resort? The Kliff restaurant offers tapas and excellent pizzas. We snorkel near AlangAlang and rent surfboards on the beach. Mangsit beach does have a few hawkers, but they are all so friendly and lovely. You will enjoy their interaction. You can even rent a local boat to take you to the Gili Islands! Our sister and brother-in-law live in the house behind ours. Rusnah will keep the house clean and do laundry as required. Nardi is our handyman, gardener and is there for your security. Luie, our co-host, speaks English well and will greet you and regularly check that everything is just right for your stay. As we live in Australia, we have the utmost respect for these wonderful people and know that you will be in good hands. Usually we use Lombok taxis to take us around the island. They are cheap and reliable and happy to wait for you. The phone number for a Lombok taxi is (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). Taxis often wait on the main road outside Qunci Villas so usually you just have to walk 15 meters to find one! A regular bemo service also runs past on the main road until approximately 7pm. Taxi fares from the airport to a Mangsit are approximately Rp 220,000... if you need us to, we can arrange an airport pick up for you that will bring you straight to the house. Our neighbours love meeting new people and they are all so friendly and warm. If you want to wander around the village please respect them and their families.
