This remodeled 1922 Minneapolis home is spacious, bright, clean, and inviting. Over 2000 sq feet includes 3 bedrooms, dining and living rooms, and a sun-porch, and there’s also yard space front and back. You'll enjoy the kitchen if you like to cook and find many dining options within a one mile walk and driving opens up the entire Minneapolis experience! Minneapolis Rental STR-239795 [Pricing disclosure: Base price is for 2 people, $25/night each additional guest.] Inquire for 30+ day stays Front porch and living room are set up to gather, relax chat, maybe play cards. Dining room accommodates six (we can bring more chairs for a special occasion - let us know). The kitchen is newly outfitted with electric oven, microwave and toaster oven, coffee maker, and a gas range. Near the Mississippi River and Minneapolis walking and biking paths, a neighbor's award-winning garden grows at the end of the block. Public parks, Seward's celebrated food co-op, farm-to-table restaurants, and quiet residential streets are all within walking distance. Franklin Avenue has developed into a friendly, bustling commerce corridor with lots to see (and eat): Seward Co-op (grocery and cafe) and Creamery (restaurant), Zipp's Liquor, Soberfish (Thai food), Pizza Luce (Italian), Mon Petit Cheri (bakery/breakfast), K'ul Chocolate (wow!), Tracy's Saloon. Even closer to home are Birchwood (Good Real Food), Cafe Racer (Latin Tapas), and Soberfish (Thai food). We think you'll like it here. We live in the upper duplex so are readily available as you need, and only if you need. Why Seward? Well we live here and love Seward, and the American Planning Association thinks it's pretty great, too, listing Seward as one of the top neighborhoods in America https://www.planning.org/greatplaces/ We agree : )) https://www.planning.org/greatplaces/neighborhoods/2017/seward/ http://news.minneapolismn.gov/2017/10/04/minneapolis-seward-neighborhood-named-one-15-great-places-america-american-planning-association/ In the Seward neighborhood you have easy access to area universities and colleges (Minnesota, St Thomas, St Kate's, Augsburg, Hamline), Minneapolis' medical community, Franklin Avenue and Lake Street businesses, and of course the Metro Transit Light Rail system with access into downtown, past the Mall of America to the airport, into St Paul, and all points in between. Minneapolis/St Paul does have a light rail system, part of a very convenient metro transit system, and of course Uber, Lyft, and a variety of other taxi services. Two blocks from home you'll find NiceRide bikes at the Birchwood Cafe if that's more your preference. While situated in an urban setting close to downtown Minneapolis we are adjacent to the Minneapolis River parkway and paths system. This tree-lined, long-established residential setting is generally very quiet. You'll typically awaken to songbirds greeting the day.
