Today, it has been thoughtfully transformed into a cozy 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom retreat nestled on 130 acres of private, scenic land - part of Emery Farm, the oldest family-run farm in the US. Our family has lived and worked here for ten generations, and we hope it feels as meaningful to you as it does to us. It’s a wonderful place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and soak in the timeless beauty of rural New England. The first floor is the kitchen, living room, and bathroom with a shower and laundry. The second floor is 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with a clawfoot tub! The main bedroom has a divine latex mattress king size bed. The 2nd bedroom has 2 latex mattress double beds. Beautiful views, outdoor picnic area with grill, and much more. 5 min to UNH, 10 min to Portsmouth, 1 hr to Boston or Portland. Guest access You will have the whole home and surrounding area to yourselves. You may also have access to a post and beam barm for yoga, ping pong and more. Please make sure to not drive to the house via the Emery Farm entrance. The driveway to Carriage House (#137) is West of the farm stand entrance. Other things to note Lots of seasonally fresh food, eggs, cheese, bread, beer, wine, morning coffee, etc available from the Emery Farm Market & Café, to either eat there or to make meals at the house!
