This property sits on the edge of a bluff overlooking the Potomac River and boasts stunning views, both from within and around the home, perfect for bird watching (eagles/osprey), fishing or just relaxing and soaking in nature, just minutes from DC! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: The pool and spa are CLOSED from LABOR DAY through MEMORIAL DAY. The official open season for pool and spa is between Memorial Day and Labor Day, please confirm availability (if requesting) outside of standard season. The space Wooded and waterfront property offers incredible views year round, even from inside the home surrounded by floor to ceiling windows. Fully furnished pool deck and patio, gas BBQ and Pellet Smoker, fire pit, a private narrow sand beach and 250ft pier, is perfect for entertaining the whole family or group. Outdoor speakers on the pool deck, as well as indoor surround sound indoors (kitchen area) create amazing ambiance for relaxing and enjoying! You can play Ping-Pong, badminton, kayak (2), go fishing ( gear provided) or cozy up around one of the many fireplaces indoors. There are 3 bedrooms with beds to accommodate 8 person(s). The master bedroom is a loft style that is open over the main living area and kitchen. Additional beds are provided in lower living room to accommodate up to 2 additional guests. Pool and Hot Tub are available to guests between Memorial Day (5/25)- Labor Day ( 9/07). Weather permitting, pools will remain open through October, but not guaranteed. Things to know: Free Wifi Smart TVs with Netflix/ Hulu access Washer/dryer access Full Kitchen with all basic essentials Minimum Age to rent is 25 years All drivers of motorized watercraft must have Virginia Boater Safety License All Kayak users are required to wear life preservers (Provided) All fishing will require a Virginia Fishing License (exception from private pier) No smoking within 10ft of home- all cigarette butts must be removed from property and disposed of in proper outdoor bin before checkout. Parties/events not permitted without prior approval- only listed guests are permitted on the property. No pets You must also acknowledge: Must climb stairs to access pier/water, wooded walking path available to bypass stairs from home to first landing only. Surveillance or recording devices on property- Multiple security recording devices are on the property 24/7. No recordings or still photos are retained unless an incident has been reported. Guest access The entire Main house on 5 acres, surrounding decks, pool/spa between Memorial and Labor Day, and the 250ft private pier with a 150ft shoreline - 75 feet on either side of the pier. Other things to note Outdoor pool and hot tub are only guaranteed to be open between Memorial Day and Labor Day, though we typically leave open through early October.
