The house was built in the ‘70s to become the family’s summer holidays refuge, in a peaceful and reserved place, yet near enough to the town. Especially after our parents retired, they spent summers here and here their four grandchildren could stay all day outdoors. Then for a period the house was just occasionally inhabited. Now it has been renewed and restored as it was previously, a nice holiday house in a pleasant and quiet place. The space The smallest apartment (3/4 people) consists of a large living room with kitchenette and fireplace, a spacious double room and a bathroom with shower. From the balcony you can enjoy a beautiful view and a barbecue is available outside. Other things to note Located 11 km from the centre of Ancona, in the hills of Marche region, Casa Edda is an ideal starting point to go and discover the beauty of the surroundings and also to stop and relax in a peaceful and private place. It has two apartments, for 2 people and for 5 people, tastefully furnished, with wide outdoor space and private park. 20 km far from the Conero Riviera (Portonovo and Sirolo), less than 45 km from Senigallia with its “velvet beach”, 60 km far from the enchanting caves of Frasassi; just 27 km to reach Recanati, birthplace of the great poet Giacomo Leopardi and 30 km to the well-known sanctuary of Loreto, where the legend has it that Jesus’s house is enshrined, after the angels carried it here in 1296.
