Located in the picturesque West Granby, Connecticut, this little schoolhouse directly abuts hundreds of acres of open space, Granby Land Trust property, and several organic farms. The space Soon after all the one-room schools closed in Granby in the late 1940s, our school was soon converted into a home. Many of the old details remain, like the high ceilings, old New England windows with marvelous wavy glass, and a calm relaxing atmosphere. The owner of this property has roots on Nantucket Island and many of the interior furnishings reflect that same feeling of a shoreline home with a mix of 19th century and a sprinkling of mid-20th century furnishings. Being a professional photographer, the home features some of his original work along with lots of books on art, history, and photography!
