Sea Otters: Head to the T-Pier (near the Great American Fish Company) or the South T-Pier. You can almost always find "rafts" of otters floating and grooming themselves there. Sea Lions & Seals: You’ll hear the sea lions barking from the floating docks in the harbor. For a closer look, rent a kayak from Kayak Horizons to glide past them quietly. Birding: The Heron and Cormorant Rookery near the Museum of Natural History is an incredible spot to see nesting birds. 2. Top-Rated Dining Along the Embarcadero Fresh Seafood: Tognazzini's Dockside is famous for its "boat to plate" local fish and lively outdoor patio with music.
