The Sweet Spot in old Nerja center

We're excited to share our beautiful piece of Costa Del Sol in the center of sweet, old town Nerja. Highlights: 7 mins walk to the beach, Balcón de Europa at the end of the street, Mercadona around the corner, 4 mins to bus stop, more tapas restaurants than you can eat. Quiet building with only few full year occupants. *Beware of scooter noise from the street below* Our unit is on the 2nd floor with *no lift. Street parking, or free lots 7 mins walk. The space Full updates summer 2019 include: The kitchen has been opened out and remodeled with all new appliances and breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully outfitted with all the dishes and cooking things you may need. We have replaced the old energy wasting doors with beautiful bespoke French doors which open to all newly Spanish tiled balconies in both the living area and the bedroom. All rooms have AC and heat, wardrobes are there is a washing machine, and clothes may be air dried on the terrace upstairs. Both bedrooms have comfy beds and large memory foam mattress covers providing a super cozy night’s sleep. This quiet six unit only building has a communal rooftop with views of the sea in one direction and mountains to the back. Our flat is West facing (towards the sea) on the second floor. The balconies are good for taking in the view, having a cup of coffee and overseeing how the locals start their day. The sea is not visible, however. *The communal rooftop terrace has been redone with seating for four. The table and chairs must be recovered if used. Please note - there is no lift. The village of Nerja is a rare find with its white washed townhomes and winding cobblestone alleys which lead down to the Mediterranean. The 7 minute walk to Calahonda beach takes you straight down the pedestrian-only path lined with shops and tapas and some of the best cuisine you'll find. The path ends at the famous Balcón de Europa which hails the most amazing views in all directions. You'll often find performers, lovers strolling, lots of photo ops, and ice cream cones for all ages. the well-known vast, public Burriana Beach is about a 15 minute walk and fully accessible (warning about the slanted, paved path - it's a hike). There are 6 other beach coves but most of them have a large amount of stairs to ascend to the water. One of my favorite things about Nerja is there's almost always something going on. Good ol' family fun. There are fiestas throughout the year, parades, bonfires, costumes, concerts, sardines, paella, fireworks and lots of Spanish dancing. All events represent the true happy and rich life of Andalucia. Guest access Community rooftop terrace with stunning views of the sea and the mountains. Other things to note Mercadona supermarket is just around the corner from the apartment. Use the trolley in the closet. There is no lift in the building. Andalucia, like many parts of Spain, still greatly revels in their siestas. Be prepared to find much less open from the hours of 2:30 to 5:00 approximately.
