Nestled up high and surrounded by lots of mature native trees the open living space and balcony make you feel like you are in a tree house. It's an easy walk to the wharf for some freshly caught fish or the harbour which is a great spot for swimming at high tide The space My house is also where I live full time. From time to time when I am out of town, I list it on air BnB. You will have full use of all amenities and the entire place to yourself. Please treat my furniture and homewares with respect and care. I have a few plant babies that are well-fed and watered so no need for any maintenance during your stay. I have a wood burner oven which is used for heating and cooking. This will be ready for you to light if you wish. There is also a small benchtop convection oven which you are most welcome to use. This can be used to grill, toast, or roast! Alternatively, you are welcome to use the BBQ and cook el fresco! Please feel free to hang up the hammock and spend some time relaxing in it while reading a book and soaking up the views. Guest access My place is the first house situated up a steep drive. The driveway is shared with two other houses located behind me. There is a car park space for one car below the house. The best approach is to reverse into the parking space. Additional cars can be parked on the grass on the opposite side of the road to my driveway There is a steep set of stairs to get up to the house. Other things to note My home is located within a short walking distance to the centre of town. It's an easy walk to the wharf for some freshly caught fish or the harbour bridge which is a great spot for a swim. It's just a 10-minute drive to the main beach (Ngarunui Beach) if you're looking to catch a wave or another 10 minutes to the points if you're a more experienced surfer.
